LOWEN WINS THIRD CONSECUTIVE BEST IN SHOW AWARD AT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
For the third year-in-a-row, Lowen Color Graphics has been honored by the Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI) with the 2002 Andre Schellenberg Award for Best in Show. To win Best in Show in this competition, entrants must have a spectacular image that utilizes digital printing in a unique way that outshines all of the other entries from companies around the world.
Representing the best work produced in the digital printing, imaging and graphics industry, winners of this years Andre Schellenberg Competition were selected at DPIs tenth Annual Conference & Exhibits held March 6-9, 2002 in Palm Springs, CA.
Lowen Color Graphics won Best in Show for the third consecutive year for their Lepidoptera display featuring artwork designed by Chad Beatty, Design Artist. The display was created with digitally printed images mounted to three layers of clear Lexan material. The layers add a dynamic, three-dimensional effect.
After winning the award for the second year in a row in last years competition, we knew we would need to create a spectacular entry for a shot at winning it again, said Darren Keller, Marketing Manager. The concept was developed by our graphic artists and engineered by a group of people from our production and research and development departments. To win this award for three straight years is a feat we didnt think was possible. We couldnt be more honored.
